**EV Mechanical Engineer - 2-Wheelers (Electric Scooters/Bikes)**

**Position Overview**:
We are looking for a **Mechanical Engineer specializing** in **electric 2-wheelers** to design, develop, and optimize mechanical systems such as frames, suspensions, battery packs, drive assemblies, and body panels.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Design and develop mechanical components for electric scooters and motorcycles (chassis, suspension, body panels, battery casing, etc.).

Collaborate with industrial designers and electrical engineers to integrate mechanical and electrical systems.

Validate designs through simulation (FEA, NVH analysis) and physical testing (vibration, drop, thermal tests).

Develop lightweight structures that meet safety, performance, and cost targets.

Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during prototyping and mass production.

Work with vendors for prototype development and manufacturing.

Support testing for regulatory compliance (CMVR, AIS-156, IP ratings, etc.).

Optimize designs for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly (DFA).

Create technical documentation including 3D models, 2D drawings, BOMs, and assembly manuals.

Continuously improve designs based on field data and customer feedback.

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering.

2-5 years of experience in 2-wheeler mechanical design, preferably in EVs.

Strong skills in CAD software (CATIA, SolidWorks, Creo, or similar).

Knowledge of structural design, thermal management, plastics, and sheet metal.

Experience with FEA tools (ANSYS, Hypermesh) and testing procedures.

Good understanding of EV components: motors, controllers, battery packs, chargers.

Familiarity with standards like AIS-156 (battery safety), AIS-041 (vehicle safety), IP67/IP68 ratings, etc.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.

Pay: ₹10,370.15 - ₹30,830.99 per month
