The Mill Shift in charge and Operator are having following responsibilities
- JB 14 supervisor will do all existing work as it is, only he will have to take extra supervisory responsibility.
- JB14 supervisor will be main operator, and existing main operator will do 2nd operator Jobs.
- Monitoring the soaking pit currents and temp graphs.
- Lead the shift activities of Hot mill and take a lead for decision making in all shift activities.
- Take a lead to adhere manpower availability of shift crew.
- Mill planning and Scheduling.
- Take a lead in sample inspection, downtime entry in machine log and datalogging of soaking pit during emergency cases.
- Take a lead to distribute the manpower for the shift breakdowns and attain breakdowns in a shift and handover the same to next shift.
- Maintain discipline, adhere safety PPE’s compliance and 5S on mill.
- Shift basis filling of Sups check list and report the abnormalities and get it corrected.
- To prepare material issue slip in system for taking material from engineering stores as and when required.
- Any Incident should be immediately reported in shifts and ensure communication to all operators in Hot Mill circuit area.
- Monitoring the Emulsion parameters and good coating Quality while Rolling. Daily oil addition to be done.
- Shift wise checking and ensuring proper running of mill ancillary in Hoffman filter area.
- He should be involved in daily POET meeting.
- Any other further relevant jobs will come time to time.
- JB14 supervisor is not eligible for OT. He will adjust people if anyone is absence. He can stay back if manpower is not adjusted. He will avail C-OFF. Which he can take in two months’ time frame.
- Shift change -If JB14 supervisor does Shift change for His own needs, then he will do Job related to that position. Ex. If he does shift change with 2nd Operator Position, then he has to 2nd operators role.
- IFJB14 stays on OT (As manpower could not be arranged) then he will perform role of Main operator and Supervisor.
- Need to take extra precautions while rolling of clad ingots.
- While rolling need to control HRC targeted gauge and sheet Profile.
- To monitor the SLC and HM operator check list on shift basis and take actions on reported abnormalities.
- To ensure all agreed points in LTS to be implemented in respective shifts.
- Ensure the HRC coils weighment during Metal Inventory.
- To monitor the Scrap shifting with proper alloy coding and shifting to designated area in remelt.
- To ensure shifting of end shear scrap on every shifts.
- He should do the small, small improvements/ideas wrt Safety, Quality and Reliability.
- Ensure shift productivity with good quality.
- He must be get trained in Digital data and dashboard and provide the training to shift crew.
- Ensure the usage of operation Loto in respective shift 100%
- In case of break down need to prepare the work permits through Tab.
- He should ensure one electrical operator in each shift.
- On monthly basis need to complete PI and BBSO as per target.
- Ensure the safety training and safety meetings.
- Adherence and conduct the Mock drills as per schedule frequency.

**Qualifications**:
Diploma in Mech. Engg.

**Minimum Experience Level**:
1-2 Years
