RESPONSIBILITY OF THE HOSTEL WARDEN

The warden is the chief executive of the hostel and the responsibilities are given below:
Maintenance of Discipline at the hostel

Introducing and maintenance of existing systems, documentation and monitoring of movements of inmates

Monitoring entry of outsiders into the hostel

Coordinating the movements of housekeeping and other axillaries staff

Maintaining a cordial atmosphere among the inmates

Monitor and maintain Clean and hygienic atmosphere throughout the hostel

Monitoring the day to day activities of inmates

Maintenance and update of stock register for equipments and furnitures

Disposal of condemned and unserviceable items through campus engineer.

Monitor timely execution of repairs and replacements

Locking of main gates at the specified time.

Wastage/prevention including water and electricity

Monitoring proper medical care and information to parents of inmates who are sick

Maintenance of Suggestion box and action there on

Ensuring the supply of food and items like washed & ironed clothing, etc at Nominated places and timing sonly and not in the rooms

Regular visits & overseeing of Hostel mess cleanliness and quality of food served.

Advising parents/guardians about the welfare and academic progress/nonperformance of their wards in consultation with student section

To deal with quarrels and shouting firmly and to deal with thefts

Ensure no smoking/ no alcohol and other deleterious habits

Proposals for procurement of items

Neat display of notice boards, information bulletin, photographs

Safety of the items including locking of TV etc.

Provision of a First aid box, clean drinking water, and suggestion box in the Common areas

Processing allotment of guest rooms and coordination there on including Collection of payments from them.

Coordination with Engineers, Contractors, and suppliers.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
