We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of **Treasury Risk Governance and Control Officer**

**Business: Finance**

**Principal responsibilities**
- Drive the regulatory governance & control agenda.
- Draft and update policies and procedures related to Volcker Rule compliance.
- Provide Volcker Rule specific regulatory advice to treasury business lines and support desks globally.
- Deep Dive Reviews - support and promote the regional execution of desk/control reviews, thematic reviews and other remediation/assurance work related to Volcker as required.
- Governance Forums - Organise, run and Participate in multiple Volcker related governance and control forums as required.
- Escalation Point - Act as an additional point of escalation for stake holders with respect to internal control issues for the region/site.
- Support the Implementation of Policies & Processes to mitigate the business' top risks related to Volcker regulation globally covering all desks across regions.
- Support Treasury SMEs in ensuring that documentation, evidencing, and 2LOD assurance responses are provided, safeguarding SME time.
- Audit: Act as a key contact point for Audit.
- Responsible for understanding various requirements of Volcker 2.0 Quarterly Submissions and adhering to those requirements
Requirements
- Good understanding of Volcker regulation
- Liaise with the different stakeholder to meet various Volcker related deadlines in terms of documentation, attestations, etc.
- Prior experience in running global governance forums related to various regulatory related items will be highly preferred.
- Minimum 8+ years' experience in regulatory related governance or risk/control roles within a Treasury organisation and/or Markets business.
- Understanding of Markets business and products.
- Familiarity with the Treasury function within a global organisation, preferably in the context of a bank
- Strong analytical and project management skills to enhance procedures and controls.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to negotiate and work effectively with senior business leaders across business lines and geographies.
- Strong problem solving and prioritization experience, able to perform multitask under pressure with a keen eye for detail.
- Degree holder with a professional qualification including background knowledge of regulation, internal control and risk management in Markets.
