About the Role

This role is based within the Retail and Commercial Risk Technology Tech Area, part of Risk Domain, whose mission is to provide services to Australia Retail & Commercial Lending and support Retail Risk functions. This role is critical in enabling best of breed technology capabilities that enable ANZ to comply with its regulatory obligations and business goals.

This is an important position within the Tech Area, with potential to grow as a Tech Area Architect, consist of supporting Tech Area squads’ sprints, design evaluate solutions and provide technical expertise to squads.

To be successful in this role you will bring a ‘can-do’ attitude along with your extensive experience in at least one of these value stream Origination, Collections, Portfolio Management & Risk domains.

What will your day look like?

Must have 8year plus relevant experience
Good understanding of design patters (of data, integration, business rules, workflow) & view of multi tier architecture patterns.
Knowledge to design apps hosted on Cloud, Containers with configurable Devops features. Exposure on migration to cloud & design for cloud will be added advantage
Produce detailed component specifications and translating these into detailed designs for implementation/ create design (from solution overview to lower-level design)
Lead technical analysis and provide feedback to the squads as technical SME when appropriate
Identify issues and presenting alternatives to alleviate or resolve problems
Knowledge and experience of Risk products and services that are supporting essential customer journeys (Originations, Collections and Portfolio Management).
Ability to learn new technologies and processes used by tech area
Good communicator and problem solver that can understand and translate business needs into strategic technology roadmaps and architectural principles
Have good skills in consulting across the business and building collaborative relationships with stakeholders to understand business drivers, compliance impacts and direction and flow on technology impacts
