**Role Description**

1. To handle, support and advise the various divisions of the Organisation on issues related to manufacturing, environment & forest, labour etc. arising from operations of the Organization across the country.

2. Being adept at preparing case briefs, pleadings, including Plaint, WS, Objections, Rejoinders, Counter Affidavits, vetting and drafting of reply and representations to different stakeholders on behalf of the Organization.

3. Respond to the legal issues of the Manufacturing and trading teams effectively and efficiently.

4. Organise timely filing of the petitions in the appropriate fora and organise the listing and hearing of the matters and to co-ordinate and interface with external counsels.

5. Attend court(s), quasi-judicial authorities & Tribunals, High Court(s), NCLT, CLAT), NGT, Electricity Tribunal among others, as and when required.

6. Vetting and drafting of agreements/contracts and supporting the Organisation on business transactions.

7. Identify potential legal issues and assess their impact on the Organization. Develop strategies to mitigate risks.

8. Prepare comprehensive notes on the issues assigned.

9. Provide internal opinions to various departments of the Organization.

11. To provide all the requisite support for the same.

12. Assist team in preparing & maintaining MIS, case records and legal updates.

**Skills**
Minimum Six years of practical experience in a law firm/ with an advocate and any prior experience in a manufacturing industry is desirable.

**Technical Competencies**:Excellent communication skills. Good Knowledge of Corporate and Commercial laws, Civil and Criminal Laws, Environment & Forest Laws, Labour & Industrial Laws. Good in drafting & research.

**Behavioural Competencies**:Analytical and conceptual mind, solution oriented, confident and energetic

**Salary**: ₹700,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
