Position: Oracle DBA

Location: Hyderabad

Experience: 5-7 Years

**Responsibilities**:
The Oracle DBA is responsible for handling DBA operations and Projects within Cloud Managed Services to support multiple clients hosted by Cloud Managed Services. The work includes Installing Oracle Software, creating Oracle Databases, performing upgrades of the database and software to new release levels, troubleshooting GI, Database and performance tuning issues in RAC/Non-RAC, Creating & Maintaining Dataguard databases, troubleshooting and fixing DG issues, handling all types of backups, refreshes and recovery procedures and performing daily routine DBA operations tasks.

**Requirement**:

- Installation/upgrade of Oracle software.
- Strong in troubleshooting Database issues.
- Strong Performance tuning experience with a good understanding of database statistics, Locks & Blocking sessions, Explain plan analysis, AWR report analysis, Server resource monitoring etc.
- Experience in applying/maintaining GI and Database patches.
- Good Knowledge & experience in AWS RDS DBs and Cloud technologies will be preferred.
- Good experience in handling performance tuning issues in SE2 is preferred.
- Should be able to create and maintain Dataguard databases, troubleshoot and fix DG issues.
- Strong in handling all types of backups, refreshes and recovery procedures.
- Hands on with 12c, 18C and 19c databases.
- Should be able to develop shell scripts and/or jobs to perform routine database administration tasks.
- Good understanding of Golden Gate implementation & maintenance, database security architecture and maintenance.
- Oracle OEM experience is required.
- Experience with hands-on daily Routine DBA operations tasks.
- Good acquaintance with different ORA errors and their resolution is required.
- Ready to work any shift on a rotating schedule, including late evening, night shift, and weekend support.
- Should be able to handle other RDBMS databases like SQL SERVER.d
- Cloud automation skills are an added advantage.
- Knowledge & experience on Oracle DB multitenant architecture.
