Sales Executive

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Lead Generation & Prospecting**: Identify and target new sales opportunities through networking, cold calling, and digital platforms to sell hotel rooms, meeting spaces, and event services.
- **Client Relationship Management**: Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, travel agencies, and individual customers to drive bookings.
- **Sales Presentations & Negotiations**: Conduct property tours, presentations, and negotiations to close sales and secure contracts for both short-term and long-term business.
- **Sales Strategy**: Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement targeted sales strategies to increase occupancy rates and revenue per available room (RevPAR).
- **Event & Conference Sales**: Promote and sell meeting rooms, conference facilities, and event spaces for corporate functions, weddings, and social events.
- **Market Research**: Monitor local and regional market trends, competitors, and customer preferences to keep the hotel’s offerings competitive.
- **Reporting & Analytics**: Track sales performance, prepare reports, and provide regular updates to management on progress toward goals and market conditions.
- **Customer Service**: Ensure client satisfaction throughout the sales process and post-booking to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the marketing team to create effective promotional campaigns and packages to boost sales and brand awareness.
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in hotel sales or a related sales role
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- In-depth knowledge of the hotel industry, market trends, and competition
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Goal-oriented with a strong drive for results
- Proficient in MS Office and hotel booking systems (e.g., Opera, Delphi)
- Flexibility to travel as needed and work irregular hours, including weekends
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
**Preferred Skills**:
- Previous experience in event sales or group bookings
- Familiarity with revenue management concepts and strategies
- Multilingual (desired but not required)
