Introduction:
This role will hold responsibility for future design of the Inform initiatives within the broader Finance Transformation program. You will be aligned to Internal Reporting where you will lead the transformation of the reproting process. This will involve process assessment of current state, analysis and process mapping; stakeholder management and communications; and future state operating model/digitalisation and implementation

What will you be doing?
This Finance Transformation role is accountable for leading activity relocation from the UK, Europe and US to India as part of the overall finance transformation strategy. This includes helping develop the future state operating model for cross-location teams, in line with stakeholder requirements and overall development plan.

Stakeholder management is a critical part of this role and the role-holder will gain significant exposure and build a network across Finance teams in multiple locations and business divisions, maintaining ongoing relationships to ensure effective governance for transitions in progress and to continue to refresh the pipeline for future migration.

Relocation of activity requires effective process controls to manage transition and operational risk, so requires a balance of diligence, pragmatism and judgment to optimise outcomes for both send and receive teams.

The role holder will work across multiple parts of the Finance Transformation team - working as part of a multi-location team supporting the CFO Business Partnering FTC, and working very closely with colleagues in the Internal Reporting FTC in Chennai.
- Manage transition of relocated activities, supporting stakeholders in all teams to ensure a well-controlled process
- Lead regular project governance, planning and progress tracking calls
- Work within a transition process framework, but managing exceptions and solving issues as required to ensure effective transition
- Providing management updates on transition progress and future pipeline planning
- Other project initiatives arising from related project workstreams (e.g supporting cross-finance processes, identifying operating model improvement based on awareness of future pipeline, increasing forward planning capability)

What we’re looking for:

- Stakeholder management skills: effective meeting management
- Excellent Power-point skills, with the ability to storyboard and produce clear and compelling presentations;
- Broad financial services experience with knowledge of Finance process, system and technologies
- Self-starter, ability to work independently and make decisions
- High degree of organisation, adaptable and flexible, comfortable with ambiguity, credible to key stakeholders

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Degree level education and an excellent general academic track record.
- Familiarity with process management skills and techniques (Lean, Six Sigma)
