**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Design Development**: Create original patterns, textures, and prints for fabrics, ensuring they align with the brand or client’s needs and trends.
- **Fabric Selection**: Choose appropriate fabrics and materials based on design specifications, functionality, and market trends.
- **Trend Research**: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in colour, material, and pattern design for various sectors (fashion, interior design, etc.).
- **Prototyping and Sampling**: Work with têxtile team to produce fabric samples and prototypes, ensuring the final product meets design specifications.
- **Collaboration**: Coordinate with other teams such as product development, marketing to ensure design implementation meets the intended vision and quality standards.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure the design is feasible to produce, and work with the team to ensure the print or pattern works effectively on the chosen têxtile.
- **Client Interaction**: Present design concepts and samples to clients, adjusting designs based on feedback and project requirements.
- **Sustainability**: Consider environmental impacts when choosing materials and promoting sustainable têxtile design practices.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Experience in têxtile or surface design, or an internship in a design role within the têxtile industry is a plus.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in design software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and têxtile-specific software (e.g., CAD software like NedGraphics, CorelDRAW, or Procreate).
- **Creative Ability**: Strong portfolio showcasing creative design work in têxtiles, with a good understanding of colour theory, pattern creation, and visual aesthetics.
- **Communication**: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for presenting designs and collaborating with internal teams and clients.
- **Sustainability Knowledge (Optional)**: Knowledge of sustainable fabric sourcing and eco-friendly design practices is a plus.

**Working Conditions**:

- Full-time position
- Office-based with occasional visits to production sites or fabric manufacturers.

May require flexibility in working hours depending on deadlines and project

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
