**Ensuring compliance**Safety officers ensure that their company is compliant with occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines. They do this by conducting regular inspections and audits to assess the workplace for adherence to safety protocols.
- **Investigating incidents**Safety officers investigate accidents and near misses to identify root causes and prevent recurrence. They may also refer or escalate incidents to the appropriate authorities or business areas if necessary.
- **Developing safety procedures**Safety officers develop and implement safety policies and procedures. They also research, monitor, and assess workplace hazards.
- **Promoting safety awareness**Safety officers promote health and safety awareness among all employees and promote the use of all safety equipment.
- **Training**Safety officers provide training and carry out drills and exercises on how to manage emergency situations.
- **Conducting risk assessments**Safety officers conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the workplace. For example, if the company introduces a new operational process, the officer can assess how much risk the process involves.
- **Enforcing preventative measures**Safety officers enforce preventative measures and take necessary actions to rectify potential hazards.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
