**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- Support work, creating, installing and managing our Mongodb/Postgres and Mysql databases Strong backup and restore (pg_dump, physical backup tools) experience.
- Strong database performance tuning, High availability. Strong SQL Query tuning and development experience.
- Strong troubleshooting skills Solid experience with Postgres PL/pgSQL Replication and failover experience User and object permission management Postgres versions, 12+, 13, 14.
- Linux command-line operating system experience (Centos/RHEL 7/8 preferred) Linux software install and configuration Scripting and task automation (Bash, Python, Git).
- Networking as related to database (Linux iptables, DNS, load balancers) Mongo DB. -.
- Responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, and security of clusters of MongoDB instances.
- One should also be responsible for orchestrating upgrades, backups, and provisioning of database on MongoDB.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Should be responsible for performing migrations (Both in-place and side-by-side).
- Should have good exposure on replica sets and Sharding (horizontal scaling).
- Should have experience on working with different MongoDB versions.
- Provision MongoDB instances, both in clustered and non-clustered configurations.
- Should have experience on working on clustered environments on AWS (or any other cloud provider).
- Understanding of MongoDB s underlying storage engines and architecture, such as MNAP and Wired Tiger.
- Responsible to ensure high level performance, availability, sustainability, and security.
- Analyse, solve and troubleshoot issues in real time also assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement.
- Prioritize daily missions/cases and manage critical issues & situations.
- Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.
- Provide root cause analysis for outages when appropriate.
- Telecom Domain knowledge, Postgres PL/pgSQL, DB knowledge is must, creating, installing and managing our Mongodb/Postgres and Mysql databases.

**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**
- Proven knowledge of postgresql Servers, PostgreSQL support work, Postgres versions, 12+, 13, 14 etc.
