**Job description**

Location - Bidi (Belgaum, Karnataka)

Experience - 2+ years
- **Site Management**:

- Supervise and manage day-to-day construction activities on the site.
- Coordinate with various teams and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- **Construction Planning**:

- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Develop detailed construction plans and schedules for civil activities.
- **Resource Allocation**:

- Allocate manpower, equipment, and materials efficiently to meet project objectives.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- **Quality Control**:

- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that construction work meets specified standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and checks for compliance with design and safety requirements.
- **Safety Oversight**:

- Enforce safety protocols and regulations on the construction site.
- Conduct safety meetings and ensure that workers are equipped with proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
- **Subcontractor Management**:

- Supervise and coordinate activities of subcontractors and trades involved in civil construction.
- Ensure subcontractors adhere to project specifications and timelines.
- **Progress Monitoring**:

- Monitor daily construction progress and report to project managers.
- Identify and address any delays or issues that may impact the project timeline.
- **Communication**:

- Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates on construction progress, challenges, and solutions.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of construction activities, including daily reports, inspection records, and change orders.
- Ensure that as-built drawings are updated as construction progresses.
- **Problem Solving**:

- Identify and resolve construction-related issues promptly.
- Collaborate with project teams to find practical and efficient solutions to challenges on the site.
- **Cost Control**:

- Monitor construction costs and work towards cost-effective solutions.
- Provide input on budgeting and cost estimation for civil construction activities.
- **Equipment Maintenance**:

- Ensure that construction equipment is properly maintained and operated safely.
- Coordinate with the equipment maintenance team to address any malfunctions or breakdowns.
- **Client Interaction**:

- Interact with clients and attend project meetings to discuss construction progress and address client concerns.
- Provide updates on milestones and any deviations from the original plan.
- **Training and Development**:

- Train and mentor construction workers, ensuring they are aware of safety protocols and quality standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and skill development.
- **Environmental Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to construction activities.
- Implement measures to minimize environmental impact during construction.
