Job Summary:

The Senior Site Engineer will be responsible for managing all on-site construction activities, ensuring that projects are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and within scheduled timelines. The candidate will lead the site execution team, coordinate with contractors, consultants, and clients, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards at all times.

Key Responsibilities:1. Site Execution & Supervision

  • Oversee day-to-day construction activities and ensure work is executed as per drawings and technical specifications.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise the work of engineers, foremen, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure proper execution of civil, structural, and finishing works.
  • Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of work stages as per project schedule.

2. Quality Assurance & Control

  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures at the site.
  • Ensure that materials and workmanship comply with required standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing of works to maintain quality.
  • Coordinate with the QA/QC team for documentation and approvals.

3. Planning & Coordination

  • Assist the Project Manager in preparing weekly/monthly progress reports.
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, and clients for technical clarifications.
  • Plan manpower, machinery, and material requirements to optimize resource utilization.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between different work disciplines (civil, electrical, plumbing, etc.).

4. Safety Compliance

  • Enforce safety rules and ensure all site activities are carried out safely.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and ensure compliance with company safety policies.
  • Report and investigate any incidents or near misses promptly.

5. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain daily site reports, work progress logs, and material consumption records.
  • Verify and certify subcontractor bills and labor attendance.
  • Maintain records of approved drawings, material test reports, and inspection reports.

6. Leadership & Team Management

  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and site supervisors.
  • Allocate responsibilities effectively and monitor team performance.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and professionalism on site.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  • Sound understanding of project scheduling and resource planning.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiar with quality and safety standards (ISO, OSHA, etc.).
  • Computer proficiency (MS Office, AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera preferred).

Educational Qualification:

  • B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
  • M.E. / M.Tech in Civil Engineering (Preferred but not essential)

Preferred Industry Background:

  • Residential, Commercial, or Industrial Building Projects
  • Infrastructure or Institutional Projects
  • Exposure to both RCC and finishing works

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50, ₹65,000.00 per month
