**About Mobile Networks**
Mobile Networks, which includes mobile network products, network deployment and technical support services, and related network management. This business group will offer the full portfolio for customers wanting to buy mobile access networks. It target leadership in key technologies such as 5G, ORAN and vRAN.
**What you will learn and contribute to**
- SW Architect responsible for delivery of 5G L1 ( Physical Layer) Features.
- Participate actively in requirement analysis, planning, design, implementation of various 5G NR L1 features on DSP platform.
- Translate 3GPP requirement and complex scenarios to implementable design.
- Coach and technically lead the team on feature realisation, refactoring & optimisations.
- Responsible to ensure good technical quality and adherence to Done criteria
- Co-working with peer architects and management on program risk management, meet committed program milestones.
**Your skills and experience**
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering in Electronics and communication/Computer Science or equivalent education
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in SW development with excellent understanding of SDLC
- Exposure in design, development, optimisations (CPU performance, ASM level) on DSP platforms preferably Lionfish, CEVA, TI, Freescale DSPs
- Experience in L1 Layer ( PHY layer) feature design for wireless communication systems particularly 4G/5G NR.
- Sound understanding of 3GPP Specification of L1 Layer preferred.
- Programming experience in C/ C++ object oriented programming, unix/linux tools, Python
- Experience in multi core (DSP/ARM/X86) design and implementation for SoC designs
- Domain knowledge in at least one of the following areas is preferred - L1 receiver algorithms, Signal Processing, Simulations using MATLAB or equivalent tool
- Exposure to embedded and real time software development & tools like SVN, GIT, GERRIT
- Good debugging and problem solving ability
- Knowledge of SW development methodologies (Agile/Scrum)
- Ability to technically support other team member and translate EFS requirement and complex scenarios to implementable design.
- Very good interpersonal, communication, team player skills and capability to work in multi-site environment
- Understanding of MATLAB will be a plus
