Administrative Duties: Clinical Assistants may also be responsible for managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow in the hospital.

Laboratory Work: Clinical Assistants may be responsible for collecting samples, such as blood or urine, and processing them in the laboratory.

Medical Equipment Maintenance: Clinical Assistants are responsible for maintaining and ensuring the proper function of medical equipment such as oxygen tanks, monitors, and other medical devices.

Communicating with patients and their families: Clinical Assistants may be responsible for updating patients and their families on treatment plans, and providing emotional support to patients and their families.
