Key Skills : Server / System Administration

Position type : Contractual up to 2 year after probation of 3 months, Extendable based on performance

**Job Objective**

**Core Responsibilities**:
Ø Proven experience as a Server Administrator or similar role for Windows / Linux based Servers.

Ø Configuration of servers, operating systems administration, hardening, load balancers, firewall including but not limited to management of users, processes, resource contention, preventive maintenance and management of updates & patches to ensure that the system is properly updated Re-installation in the event of system crash/failures

Ø Periodic health check of the systems, troubleshooting problems, analyzing and implementing rectification measures

Ø Implementation and maintenance of standard operating procedures for maintenance of the infrastructure

Ø Implementing security on the Internet and Intranet

Ø Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery

Ø Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes

Ø Install and configure software and hardware

Ø Manage network servers and technology tools, Set up accounts and workstations

Ø Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements

Ø Troubleshoot issues and outages, Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls

Ø Upgrade/ patching of systems with new releases and models time to time.

Ø Maintain code repository server and access configuration

Ø Configure and Maintain Server scaling and High Availability & Disaster Recovery

Ø Web / Mobile Application release management activities on staging and production server.

**Skillset**:
Ø Microsoft Windows Server, RHEL, Ubuntu, Debian, SUSE, CentOS, VMware

Ø Internet Information Server, Apache, Tomcat, Node, Nginx

Ø GIT for release management

Ø LDAP/ AD Management (Optional)

Ø DNS, DHCP Management

Ø Basic DB side administration including backup & restore for MySQL and Postgres (Optional)

Ø Exposure on State Data Center / National Datacenter / AWS / Azure or other Cloud operations

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary

**Salary**: ₹11,378.94 - ₹30,000.00 per month
