**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Job Description- Managing the activities of Chassis systems and components of Sub Systems of a three wheeler. Design engineer responsible for ensuring the design Quality in desired Cost and committed Time.
- Direct focus on: Chassis Systems Design, sub systems (Suspension, steering, Brakes, wheels, wheel-ends etc.) selection.- Vehicle Dynamics - Selection of steering & suspension parameters based on target
- vehicle performance requirements derived from either internal or external benchmarking
- Sub System selection -Selection of correct type and design of chassis systems to meet given performance targets like wheels, tyres, suspension, brakes, steering, wheels and wheel-ends components etc,
- Lay outing & detailing of parts & assembly drawing preparation /3D modelling in CATIA Hands on proficiency on CATIA
- Should have experience in Chassis systems design (Suspension, brakes, wheels & tyres, wheel-endsetc.)
- Should be able work in CAD for layout & packaging, DMU verification etc.
- Basic knowledge of Vehicle D
- Achieving the Cost/ Weight Targets
- Working knowledge of DFM, DFA & DFS
- Should be able to understand and coordinate with CAE and performance simulation teams to ensure timely closure of gateway deliverables
- Should be well versed with new product lifecycle and should possess know how on how to handle running changes- Role:_Engineering & Manufacturing - Other
