To carry out day to day activities of surveillance of infection control by regular visit to essential hospital department such as wards, operating room, ICU, laboratory, housekeeping, catering, pharmacy, wash areas, toilets, laundry etc.
- To provide clinical advice and support nurse and non-clinical personal on infection control issues.
- To explain and interpret microbiology reports to relevant nursing staff and advice on isolation techniques generally and in specific clinical situations.
- To identify potential infections hazards and suggest appropriate remedial measures to relevant personnel.
- To follow the ICC protocols to identify, investigate and control out breaks of infection.
- To participate in informal and formal teaching program for nurses and paramedical staff.
- To carry out regular immunization program for the staff who are involved in patient care and to keep a record of the same in register.
- This position is supervised by the in charge nurse of nursing and serves to instruct personnel in proper infection control officer.
- To investigate infection control problems and arranges follow-up care for patients exposed to infectious diseases.
- Managing food safety, including employee health and hygiene, pest control, investigating potential food-borne illnesses, and waste disposal.
- Identifies, investigates, reports, health care associated infections among patients and personnel through ongoing surveillance.
- Collaborates with HR and provides direction regarding employee health issues such as exposures, vaccines or vaccine preventable diseases, communicable diseases and other infection prevention/control related issues involving hospital employees.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

- Bachelor's (required)

- Nursing: 1 year (required)

License/Certification:

- Nursing License (required)
- Infection Control Nurse Certificate (required)
