**Specific Job Responsibilities**
- Act as a licensing staff between infection control Officer, infection control team and ward health team members.
- Conduct regular rounds in all the clinical department of the hospital to discuss, monitor the infection control practices.
- Review existing SOP’s and update them according to the recent guidelines.
- Analyze the data on nosocomial infection through daily surveillance and culture reports collected by ICN.
- Coordinate, implement and monitor the quality improvement program within the facilities resulting in optimal patient outcome.
- To develop Infection control training calendar and to execute the same.
- Conduct continuous training for link nurses and other staffs.
- Implement educational program to provide staff with knowledge and skill regarding infection control practices and preventive measures to provide safe environment to all.
- Participate and organize scheduled hospital infection control meeting.
- Report hospital infection outbreak to ICO.
- Reporting hindrances to implement infection control practices.
- Ensure that the annual audit schedule is planned and the same is executed by the ICN
- Ensure that that all the HAI data and Quality indicator data are completed and sent to quality department in a timely manner
- Ensure and support regular attendance and participation in in service education
- Monitor staff for current IC practices
- Maintaining the vaccination data.
- Ensuring biomedical waste segregation at every level.

Conduct bedside trainings.
Participation in various activities planned by infection control team like hand hygiene, International infection Prevention week Celebration, etc.

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
