**Responsibilities**:

- Design, implement, and maintain database systems within the Google Information System (GIS) environment, including Google Cloud SQL, Google BigQuery, and other relevant platforms.
- Monitor and optimize database performance, including query optimization, indexing, and resource utilization.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements through regular backups, encryption, access controls, and auditing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including performance bottlenecks, data corruption, and connectivity problems.
- Implement and maintain database replication, clustering, and high availability solutions to ensure business continuity and disaster recovery.
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to database-related incidents and emergencies in a timely manner.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) with expertise in managing databases within the Google Information System (GIS) environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services related to database management, such as Google Cloud SQL, Google BigQuery, Google Cloud Spanner, etc.
- Strong understanding of database design principles, data modeling, and SQL programming.
- Experience with database performance monitoring and tuning tools, as well as troubleshooting methodologies.
- Familiarity with database security concepts, encryption techniques, and regulatory compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or database administration are highly desirable.
- Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and traditional relational database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) is a plus.

**Salary**: Up to ₹30,000.00 per year
