**Job summary**

A book layout designer is responsible for the visual arrangement of text and images within a book ensuring an aesthetically pleasing and functional design. Design and typeset books, implementing good book design parameters, layout pages, import and crop photos,typeset tables and graphs.

**Key Responsibilities**

1 **Layout Creation **:Design page layout that enhance readability and align with the book's theme.

2 **Typography**: Select appropriate fonts, sizes and spacing to ensure clarity and visual appeal.

3 **Image Integration**: Incorporate illustration photograph and graphics ensuring they complement the text.

4 **Formatting**: Prepare files and printing and digital formats, adhering to industry standards.

5 **Collaboration**: Work closely with editor and publisher to meet project goals and deadlines.

**Skills and Requirements**
- Proficiency in design software like Adobe creative suite ( photoshop, illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong understanding of colour theory, typography and composition.
- Creativity ,imagination and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of printing and e-books production process.
- Familiarity with genre-specify design trends.

**Qualification**
- Any graduate/ post graduate or certification in relevant field can apply.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience as book layout designer in a publishing related industry.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
