**About**:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Intern to join our finance team for a 1-3 month internship. The Accounts Receivable Intern will work closely with the Accounts Receivable team to gain practical experience in managing receivables, invoicing, payment processing, and collections. This internship offers valuable insights into the world of finance and provides an opportunity to develop key accounting skills.

**Responsibilities**:
**1. Invoicing Assistance**:

- Assist in creating and sending invoices to customers.
- Learn to verify invoice accuracy, including payment terms and due dates.

**2. Payment Processing Support**:

- Participate in reconciling discrepancies and resolving payment-related issues.

**3. Collections Support**:

- Collaborate with the team to monitor accounts receivable aging.
- Gain experience in communication with customers regarding overdue accounts and payment arrangements.

**4. Data Entry and Record Keeping**:

- Enter data accurately into the accounting system.
- Assist in maintaining customer account records and payment transactions.

**5. Reporting Assistance**:

- Work with the team to generate reports on accounts receivable aging and collections efforts.
- Contribute to data analysis and reporting tasks.

**6. Customer Relations**:

- Learn to address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist in maintaining positive customer relationships.

**Requirements**:

- Enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (coursework or prior experience).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills.
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative.
