- **Pre-operational checks**:Ensuring the crane is safe to use before each operation, including inspecting the crane and its components.
- **Attaching and detaching loads**:Safely attaching and removing loads from the crane.
- **Moving and positioning loads**:Precisely maneuvering the crane to lift and position loads in specific areas.
- **Following lifting plans and signals**:Interpreting instructions from team members and following established lifting plans to ensure safety.
- **Assessing load weights**:Determining the weight of loads to be lifted and ensuring the crane's capacity is adequate.
- **Communicating with other workers**:Coordinating with ground personnel and other workers to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- **Maintaining equipment**:Performing routine maintenance checks on the crane and reporting any issues to supervisors.
- **Following safety protocols**:Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment.
