S24 - Matlab Programmer

**Key Roles & Responsibilities**:

- MATLAB programmer / Software programmer with experience in Data Analysis.
- Monitor preexisting functionalities in Equipment Health Monitoring Daily for approx. 30 engines per person - Checking for Abnormalities, errors and warnings.
- Troubleshooting all kinds of errors in RDM- product errors, data related (processing, Tagging) errors, configuration errors.
- Integration of functionalities for 10- 12 subsystems per Project in RDM (new requirements from Customers) ( eg: Regression analysis).
- Data Analysis as per customer requests - Further Analysis in RDM and extract data in Excel (regarding missing data, outliers) and generate Automated Reports.
- Trend Diagnostics
- observe the past trends and suggest required parameters for Extrapolation.
- Understanding of existing scripts functioning
- Have to understand how the scripts are working to analyze functionalities further.
- Documentation - All the work done has to be documented in SPHYNX software.
- To present the analysis work to respective stakeholders and internal meetings.
- Generate visualizations in the form of reports using **Matlab and Plotly.**
- Using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and predictions.
- Extend the capabilities of the existing analytics framework by modifying algorithms /scripts with Matlab or python (simple script modifications).
- Preparing final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends.
- Work with software engineering best practices such as version control, continuous integration, test driven development.
- Ensure quality of data and solution developed.
- Analyze time series data.
- Documentation of developed solutions.
- Should be able to handle ad hoc requests / miscellaneous tasks related to data handling and visualization.

- To discuss with respective stakeholders for collection of inputs,data, and technical Information needed for analysis.

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications, Experience & skills**:

- Skills & competencies: (Education, Experience, Software / Tools, Etc.)
- Minimum Bachelor’s / Master’s with 4-6 years of relevant experience.
- Strong Programming skills in MATLAB (Creating functions, writing scripts from scratch, debugging existing scripts etc.).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with MATLAB programming.
- Experience with toolboxes in MATLAB - Simulink, signal processing, control system etc. will not be considered as programming skill or experience.
- GIT knowledge is an mandatory requirement.
- Should have experience in regression analysis, statistical tool development and time series data.
- Programming experience in MATLAB (at least 2 years) in developing algorithms in trend diagnostics and Predictive Analytics.
- Good analytical skills to identify problems in data and propose solutions.
- Able to work in scrum methodology.
- Attention to detail and strong data orientation.
- Ability to work in global cross functional teams and communicate the results.
