- As a Data Architect III at JPMorgan Chase within the Payments Chief Data Office, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for creating and managing the Payment Domain’s Business Data Glossary and Business Information Models. You will collaborate with product and technology partners to design scalable data solutions, ensuring they align with business needs. - _Works with product owners and business SMEs to understand functional and data requirements for implementations in order to build Logical Data Models that reflect requirements and can be used by technologists to build solutions that are fit for purpose _
- _Actively looks to expand and mature the content of the Business Information Models by leveraging analysis and modelling done on implementations _
- _Works with the Information Architecture leadership to ensure best practice data modelling standards & guidelines are followed by BIMs and implementation LDMs _
- _Engages technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss and propose information architecture approaches to meet current and future needs _
- _Participates in information architecture governance bodies _
- _Evaluates information architecture recommendations and provides feedback to stakeholders _
- _Executes creative information architecture solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions and break down technical problems _
- _Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues _
- _Facilitates evaluation sessions of data models with relevant stakeholders to drive positive outcomes through probing of functional & data requirements, definitions and validation rules _
- _Leads information architecture communities of practice to drive awareness and use of modern information architecture technologies _
- _Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect _

**_Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills _**
- _Formal training or certification on Computing Science concepts and 3+ years applied experience. _
- _8 + years’ experience as an Information or Data Architect _
- _Hands-on practical experience delivering Logical Data Models _
- _Hands-on practical experience of Logical Data Modelling Tools _
- _Hands-on practical experience of Business & Data Analysis techniques _
- _Exposure to Industry Data Models from Payments domain _
- _Experience in building Common Data Model’s _
- _Advanced knowledge of architecture & Exposure to other Data management functional area _
- _Proficiency in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle. In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems _
- _Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to recommend the best information architecture solutions for the future state architecture _

**_Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills _**
- _Working knowledge of MagicDraw and Erwin or other data modelling tools _
- _Knowledge of UML & ER modelling methods _
- _Knowledge of Wholesale Payments business _
- _Knowledge of Domain Driven Design_
