**Job Summary**:
The Digital Marketing and SMO Executive is responsible for developing and implementing online marketing strategies to drive traffic, engagement, and sales for the supermarket through digital channels. This role focuses on social media optimization (SMO), search engine optimization (SEO), content marketing, and digital advertising to enhance the company’s online presence and promote its products, sales, and events.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Social Media Optimization (SMO)**: Manage and optimize the supermarket's presence on social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn), ensuring content is engaging, consistent with brand guidelines, and designed to grow the company’s social following.
- **Content Creation & Curation**: Collaborate with the design and content teams to create high-quality, engaging digital content including posts, banners, videos, and ads to promote products, special offers, and events.
- **Digital Advertising Campaigns**: Plan and execute paid digital marketing campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads) to increase traffic, conversions, and brand awareness. Monitor and optimize campaign performance.
- **SEO & Website Management**: Work with the web development team to optimize the company website for search engines, ensuring that it ranks highly for relevant keywords and provides an excellent user experience.
- **Data Analytics & Reporting**: Track, measure, and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns using tools like Google Analytics, social media analytics, and other tracking platforms.
- **Customer Engagement**: Engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and reviews on social media platforms, ensuring positive customer relationships and addressing any concerns.
- **Market Research**: Conduct research on competitors, trends, and customer preferences to inform digital marketing strategies and stay ahead in the competitive retail environment.
- **Influencer & Partnership Marketing**: Work with influencers, bloggers, and other online personalities to promote the supermarket’s products and expand the digital reach.
- **Budget Management**: Manage the digital marketing budget effectively, ensuring all spending is aligned with campaign goals and provides a strong return on investment (ROI).
- **Collaboration**: Collaborate with in-house teams (marketing, product, design) to align digital campaigns with broader marketing initiatives and sales goals.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- **Educational Background**: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field.
- **Experience**: 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing and social media management, preferably in the retail or FMCG industry.
- **Technical Knowledge**: Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), web analytics tools (Google Analytics), and social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).
- **Creativity**: Ability to create engaging content and campaigns that resonate with the target audience.
- **Data-Driven**: Strong analytical skills to measure and optimize campaign performance and ROI using digital marketing tools.
- **Time Management**: Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal teams, customers, and external influencers.
