LILA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced VFX Artist with expertise in the Unity Engine to join our creative team. As a VFX Artist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing visually stunning and immersive visual effects for our exciting gaming projects. Your work will directly impact the player experience, enhancing the game’s atmosphere and engagement. **Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate closely with the art director, game designers, and development team to understand the project’s visual requirements and artistic vision.
- Design and create high-quality real-time visual effects, including particle systems, shaders, animations, lighting effects, and post-processing effects, using the Unity Engine.
- Implement VFX assets that seamlessly integrate into the game environment while maintaining performance and quality standards.
- Optimize VFX assets and effects to ensure efficient performance across various platforms and devices.
- Work closely with programmers to integrate VFX assets and ensure proper functionality and execution.
- Research and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in real-time VFX and the Unity Engine, sharing knowledge and best practices with the team.
- Provide creative input and contribute to the overall artistic direction of the game’s visual style and effects.
- Collaborate with other artists and provide constructive feedback to maintain and improve the quality of VFX throughout the game.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of VFX pipelines and workflows to streamline production processes.
- Stay organized, meet project deadlines, and effectively communicate progress and challenges to the team.

**Skills**:

- Extensive experience creating visually stunning real-time VFX for games, with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in the Unity Engine.
- Expertise in VFX principles, including particle systems, shaders, animations, lighting, and post-processing effects.
- Proficiency in using industry-standard software tools, including Unity, Photoshop, and other relevant software.
- Strong understanding of real-time shaders and materials in Unity, with the ability to create custom effects when necessary.
- Knowledge of scripting languages, such as C#, to create custom tools or optimize VFX workflows is a plus.
- Familiarity with optimization techniques to achieve high-quality effects without sacrificing performance.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- A passion for gaming and a deep understanding of game development processes.
- Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

**Eligibility & Cultural Fit**
- Must be willing to relocate to Bangalore, India
