**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Financial Record-Keeping**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by entering data into the accounting software and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- **Accounts Payable and Receivable**: Process invoices, track payments, and manage accounts receivable to ensure timely collection of payments. Handle vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- **Bank Reconciliation**: Reconcile bank statements with internal accounts and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- **Financial Reporting**: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Analyze financial data and provide insights to management as needed.
- **Budgeting and Forecasting**: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts by providing financial data and insights. Monitor budget performance and report variances to management.
- **Tax Compliance**: Assist in preparing tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations. Liaise with external tax advisors and authorities as necessary.
- **Audit Support**: Support internal and external audit processes by providing documentation, explanations, and assistance as needed.
- **Financial Analysis**: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. Provide recommendations to management based on analysis findings.
- **Process Improvement**: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency. Implement best practices to enhance financial operations.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience working in accounting or finance roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is a plus.

**Work Environment**:
The accounts executive will primarily work in an office environment, collaborating with other members of the finance team and interacting with various departments across the organization. This role may require occasional overtime to meet deadlines during busy periods such as month-end or year-end close.
