**Department**: Design Studio

**Location**: Jaipur, India

**Timing**: 9:00 am
- 6:00 pm

**Working Days**: Monday to Saturday

**Job Purpose**: Surface development (Block, Screen, Digital, Embroidery) for Apparels and Home

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist and support design head in creating innovative outputs on têxtiles for apparels and Home
- Executing design concepts/ inspirations and creating colourways for all sorts of prints
- Create or visualise an idea and produce a design by hand or using design software’s
- Producing technical drawing, repeats and layouts of prints for Apparels and Home
- Develop and create accurate spec packs and detailed layouts
- Working closely with artisans for sampling and suppliers for developments
- Coordinate with artisans, design team and production Merchant whenever needed
- Document each collection and its process from Ideation to final product development
- Photograph the sampling process and create a visual library of the same.
- Support team with photoshoot, cataloguing and presentations.
- Understanding of fabrics and its end use.
- Must have knowledge about Indian crafts and têxtiles
- Capable of working under pressure
- Any work provided by management time to time.

**Qualification**:

- Textile Design degree preferred
- Technical knowledge regarding fabrics, prints, placement and basics of garment construction

**Qualities /Skills**:

- Attention to detail and quality
- Passion for crafts products
- Can operate with a sense of urgency and flexibility
- Ability to communicate with creative team effectively
- Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills
- Good with Photography

**Experience**:

- At least 2 years’ experience working in the crafts and design sector
- Experience working with block printers, screen makers, screen printers, digital prints, embroidery.
- Proven design/production experience at a luxury brand level (preferred)
