Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Architect, design, and develop innovative and secure payment processing solutions that meet business requirements while ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with PCI regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and provide guidance on best practices for payment processing solutions.
- Conduct regular code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to payment processing and PCI compliance and incorporate relevant advancements into solution designs.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by direct manager.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Solutions Architect, with a focus on payment processing solutions.
- Extensive experience in full-stack development, with proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Python, AWS services (such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.)
- Experience with writing Integration Tests with frameworks like Junit and Mockito.
- Strong proficiency with Postgres (or any relational database like MySQL/Oracle) and Messaging Frameworks such as Kafka, AMQ, RabbitMQ.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically to anticipate and mitigate technical challenges.
- Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with DevOps practices.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, PCI Professional) are a plus.
