Associate - Private Equity Operations

**Position Title -**Associate
**Experience Level - **1-2 years of relevant experience.
**Department - **Private Market
**Location - **Gurgaon
**Position reports to - **Assistant Director
**Job Purpose**
Acuity Knowledge Partners is currently looking for an individual to play a key role in supporting a Private Equity client through fund benchmarking and portfolio data analysis.
The professional will be closely working as an extended team member for a private equity client and will assist on portfolio monitoring, industry/company research, financial statements analysis and ad-hoc tasks.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Tracking KPIs and operational updates on daily / weekly / monthly basis
- Spreading portfolio company financial data as per the pre-defined standards.
- Working on benchmarking, dashboarding, deep dive analytics of banking sector, company profiling and Net income margins.
- Maintaining and updating financial statements i.e. Balance sheets, Income statements, Cash flow.
**Key Competencies**
- Minimum 1-2 years of work experience.
- MBA or other Post-Graduate or Professional Degree
- Expert knowledge of Financial Statements
- Knowledge and understanding of Private Equity and Financial Services Industry
- Professional expertise in MS Office with strong skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to take complete ownership and deliver the projects as per client requirements and timeline.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to conduct high-quality project-level conversations with clients.
- Self-motivated professionals with a proactive approach towards work would be preferred.
