**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- **Vehicle operation**: Drive heavy trucks, tractor-trailers, or other large commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver goods.
- **Route planning**: Plan and follow the most efficient routes using maps or GPS to meet delivery schedules.
- **Inspections and maintenance**: Conduct thorough pre
- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle for mechanical issues and safety defects, and perform basic maintenance like checking fluids and tire pressure.
- **Cargo handling**: Load and unload goods, secure cargo to prevent movement or damage, and verify that the load matches the manifest.
