**Job Type**: Permanent

Job Responsibilities
- Manage Level 1 Cloud operations resources
- Assist in scoping and executing prospective engagements
- Develop scripts, tools, or methodologies to enhance Geneon’s Cloud operations offering
- Document security issues and impacts in a clear and concise manner to facilitate reporting to impacted stakeholders
- Ensure positive client satisfaction and client relationship is maintained
- Deliver on service commitments and participate in account plan/strategy
- Drive/Manage service quality, performance, and improvement of processes
- Deliver an Enhanced Model for resolution of Major Incidents
- Drive audit readiness and (Information Security Controls) compliance
- Provide technical support and participate in the change control process
- Bridge gaps between delivery teams and drive rapid recovery during incidents
- Provide a holistic view of the cloud environment and make recommendations to improve overall service.
- Creation of reporting and KPI metrics for Level 1 Cloud Operations
- Manage Infrastructure upstream and downstream documentation for service impact and mapping.
- Set direction for team / Management of after-hours support
- Manage outages to resolution & manage Alert Communications
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Ownership

Desired Skills
- Ability to successfully interface with clients (internal and external)
- Ability to document and explain technical details in a concise, understandable manner
- Ability to manage and balance own time among multiple tasks.
- AWS/GCP/Azure working knowledge
- Handle technical escalations & guide operations teams for recurring incidents
- Identifying single point of failures and mitigating issues by following problem management and continual service improvements.
- AWS and Azure Cloud management: understanding of hybrid / public cloud-based support models.
- Configuration and administration of virtual connect and direct connect, familiarity with EC2 families, Storage types, backup snapshots, server patching, load balancers (F5, ELB ) etc.
- Ensure communication and ongoing updates through dashboards for infrastructure health and compliance (contract, security, risk)
- Conduct regular trainings/sessions within the team to keep all the team members updated with latest Cloud offerings
- Demonstrate recoverability through enterprise backup solutions and other methods of backups (VM snapshots etc.)

Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a technical field
- Total 5-8Years of which 1- 3 years’ experience managing Level 1 Cloud operations

Certifications (Nice to Have NOT Must)
- ITIL Foundation
