The Securities & Derivative Analyst 1 is an entry level position responsible for processing orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the operations - Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to assist in the clearance, settlement and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide analytical and administrative support to Front Office Sales and Trading specifically related to FX business
- Supporting lifecycle activities such as Trade Aggregation, Allocation, Cancel Rebooks, Matching, Early pickup / Utilization, Rollovers etc. and interaction with Business, Firm’s Clients, Operations and Technology to manage post execution issues.
- Perform control functions based on intermediary processing systems and records
- Complete daily tasks accurately and on time.
- Ensure the desk is always in compliant with internal and external regulations
- Manage, escalate and resolve all requests / inquiries / issues / errors and identify policy gaps
- Willingness to cross train across teams
- Assist Team Lead in all their duties as required
- ** Qualifications and Skills**:

- 1-2 years relevant experience preferred; freshers will do.
- Fundamental understanding of FX products, trade lifecycle management, and related operational risks
- Team oriented personality, thrives in a team environment and can also work independently
- Self-motivation, flexibility, and a strong desire to succeed
- Proven ability to perform various concurrent activities/projects in a high-risk environment
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience preferred
