**Job description**:
VedMudhra Academy Of Excellence is looking for **FIDE-Certified Chess Instructor**for our center located at Neknampur, Manikonda, Hyderabad.

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Instruction & Coaching**:

- Plan and deliver high-quality chess lessons tailored to students' skill levels and learning paces.
- Provide individual and group coaching sessions, focusing on fundamental principles, advanced strategies, and competitive play.
- Prepare students for local, national, and international chess tournaments, ensuring they are well-equipped with strategies and confidence.
- Assess students' progress regularly, offering constructive feedback and personalized improvement plans.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment, promoting good sportsmanship and critical thinking skills.

**Program Development**:

- Develop and update the chess curriculum to ensure it remains challenging, engaging, and aligned with FIDE standards.
- Organize and oversee internal chess tournaments and events to provide students with practical experience and competitive opportunities.
- Collaborate with the academy staff to integrate chess programs with other educational activities and initiatives.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in chess theory, coaching techniques, and FIDE regulations to maintain a high standard of instruction.

**Administrative Duties**:

- Provide reports on students' performance to the academy director and parents as required.
- Manage class schedules, ensuring efficient use of the academy’s resources and facilities.

**Qualifications**:

- FIDE certification as a Chess Instructor or Coach.
- Proven experience teaching chess to children, with a track record of student success in tournaments.
- Strong understanding of chess strategies, openings, endgames, and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A passion for chess and a commitment to fostering a lifelong love of the game in students.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience in organizing and running chess tournaments.
- Familiarity with online chess platforms and tools for remote coaching.
- Ability to create engaging instructional materials, such as lesson plans, worksheets, and training videos.

**Work Environment**:

- The role is based at our academy center, with potential opportunities for remote coaching or special events.
- Interaction with students, parents, and academy staff is a key part of the role.
