**About the role**

**Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to)**
- Client Engagement: Engage with clients, understand project scopes, and manage and deliver projects independently. Conduct project discussions, negotiate deadlines, and effectively address client queries
- Leadership in Team Management: Lead a team of 1-2 analysts, provide guidance on project conceptualization and planning. Review the team's work, ensuring quality before project delivery
- Investment Theme Analysis: Evaluate the attractiveness of investment themes and strategies, focusing on sectors, geographies, and company-specific considerations within fund portfolios
- Identifying Investment Opportunities: Identify high-growth sectors for investment assessment by conducting market analyses, considering factors such as market size, historical and projected growth rates, emerging trends, and key drivers
- New Market Identification and Entry Strategies: Analyze market size, competitive landscapes, and growth opportunities to identify new markets for growth. Formulate both organic and inorganic entry strategies
- M&A and Strategic Analysis: Identify and analyze potential targets through comprehensive market, product, service, and financial synergy analyses
- Commercial Due Diligence Support: Conduct commercial due diligence for potential investments, analyzing market opportunities, target company business models, and competitive positioning
- New Product Identification and Marketing Strategies: Perform market segmentation, product benchmarking, pricing studies, and competitor analyses to identify optimal strategies for investee companies
- Industry Dashboards: Periodically monitor key industry drivers and performance indicators for specific sectors
- Portfolio Company Monitoring: Track business and financial performance indicators of portfolio companies, benchmarking them against their peer group for timely identification of upside and downside triggers
- Quantitative Analysis: Conduct trading and transaction comparable analyses, demonstrating a basic understanding of financial statements and analysis
- Financial Modeling: Proficient in financial modeling techniques, incorporating quantitative analyses to assess investment opportunities. Develop and utilize robust financial models to evaluate the financial viability and potential returns of projects and investments

**Required Competencies (include, but are not limited to)**
- A master’s or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Management, Economics, Finance, Analytics or relevant fields
- A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant professional experience is required. Experience in warehousing/logistics domains is preferred
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills are a must
- Outstanding communication skills are required
- Proficiency in managing project requirements and adhering to office protocols is necessary. - High attention to detail is essential
- Strong creative writing, exceptional editing skills, and organizational or project management expertise are desired
- A motivated self-starter, capable of working under pressure with tight deadlines, is needed - The ability, initiative, and commitment to thrive in a culture of excellence are required
- Proficiency in written and verbal English is necessary. Fluency in a second language is advantageous
- Knowledge of databases will be considered an additional advantage
