Corporate Risk is an independent control function responsible for the development of Fortum’s risk management framework as well as for implementing effective controls to ensure exposures always remain with acceptable risk levels. Corporate Risk also supports business in managing risks effectively and provides management with assurance that risks are adequately measured and monitored. Corporate Risk is functionally organized within Corporate Finance with a risk reporting line to Fortum’s Audit and Risk Committee.

**About the role**

We are looking for a Corporate Credit Risk Controller to join Corporate Credit Risk Team. You will report to Head of Credit Risk. Preferred location of the job is in Espoo, Finland, or Stockholm Sweden.

Your key responsibilities are maintaining and developing the counterparty credit risk management framework, assessing, and monitoring the creditworthiness of our key counterparties (business partners, customers, financial institutions, suppliers, and trading counterparties), setting and making recommendations for credit limits, making recommendations for risk mitigation actions.

**What we are looking for**

You hold a university degree in business, economics, engineering, finance, or accounting with at least five years of relevant experience, preferably in energy, utility or industrial company or financial sector. You have a strong theoretical knowledge and practical experience of models and methods used for quantifying credit risk. In the role you will be required to analyze and interpret financial and business-related information about our counterparties to be able to draw conclusions and present recommendations to management for decision-making. You challenge the status quo and are willing to voice your opinion. At the same time, you are collaborative and can main good working relationships with colleagues, managers, and specialists at several levels of the organization. You are curious and solution-oriented and have a strong drive for continuous improvement. Fluency in English is required and preferably also at least one Nordic language.
