The _Scientist I_ for Cytiva is responsible _for._
- Execute basic complexity test work is completed as required, write reports, meet on-time-delivery expectations with mínimal guidance.
- Review job request, relevant MSDS and fully understand requirements is in accordance with laboratory SOPs, Laboratory maintenance, operate and be able to troubleshoot all equipment/instrumentation necessary to support testing, with mínimal guidance.
- Ensure raw data is recorded into laboratory notebook (or similar). Immediately notify laboratory management of any test delays, problems, or deviations
- Support basic complexity internal test work in support of R&D, NPI, NPD, QC release testing, etc - as required by management.

This position is part of the Biotech Integrated Solutions; Fast Trak Validation Services located in Bengaluru, India and will be on-site. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

**The essential requirements of the job include**:

- Skilled to perform microbiology test work and execute work instructions with Aseptic laboratory techniques, Applicable GLP & GMP and measurement methods.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Desire to work closely with a diverse team and team player.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in microbiology or Life Science

**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:

- 2-year relevant industry experience
