IT Asset Administrator

The **EUS Asset Administrator’s** core focus areas will be to build process and track Hardware Asset Management, Software management, Mobile devices. The role will focus on providing support for the End User Services department ensuring administration, process, documentation and standards are completed to best practice principles.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Build robust process for Hardware Asset management and ensure Assets assigned matches what people are accessing.Where there are mismatches raise with local team to resolve, hence having accurate HW AM across IVY.Having accurate HW AM also includes up to date and accurate Stock and detail around end of life for forward LCM planning
- Work closely with EUS Technology Administrator to Implement improvements in ServiceNow asset tracking like bar code scanning for assets, standard process across locations
- Perform daily and long-term operational and strategic management of hardware and software
- Plan, monitor, and record hardware assets and/or software license to make sure they adhere with vendor contracts in different software tools
- Provide KPI/Metric information and standardized reporting on a scheduled basis together with unscheduled reporting demanded by management
- Define and enhance scheme for identifying hardware and software-related assets as well as CIs, including versioning and dependencies in the asset management tools, attributes, the Contract management library, and the CMDB
- Manage inventory of CIs and assets, including dependencies and attributes), making sure that modifications, withdrawals, and additions of existing ones are correctly recorded by the teams in charge in the tools to ensure that the vendor contracts are complied with
- Responsible for managing lifecycle of hardware and software models right from their introduction to their retirement
- Create and execute governance and strategic asset management function
- Perform research on industry best practice and incorporate it with organizational practices
- Focus on areas of consolidation to reduce numbers of models, contracts and cost
- Tracking and management of IT related assets through their lifecycle (stock to disposal) using ServiceNow
- Documentation of processes and procedures related to all Asset Management
- Interaction with internal customers, external service providers, internal IT teams and business departments

**Occasional Responsibilities**:

- Lead, implement and support IT related projects as directed by the manager
- Manage and build supplier relationships

**Skills Required**:

- Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook and/or O365
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with a strong service focus
- High degree of attention to detail, as well as desire to ensure that standards are adhered to
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team based environment and prioritize workload
- Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and new learning
- Must have strong process, numeracy and administration skills
- Experience with ServiceNOW or similar ticketing/asset management tool
- Ability to question current status quo and implement change
- Experience in Asset and Life Cycle Management
