The Job Holder will be responsible for configuring new system functionality, providing system maintenance & enhancements in SAP projects in the area of Invoice Handling and Cash Management to ensure that the initiatives and internal customers are provided full lifecycle support, from implementation through on-going support. This person will be responsible for coding, configurations unit testing, bug-fixes a day-to-day basis. It should be noted that this should be mainly delivered via Configuration objects rather than Custom Developments. An exceptional knowledge of standard SAP functionality is therefore required to be able to properly exploit the Platform to deliver maximum business value.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

- Configure SAP SD in line with the Global Template for the individual ETSM TechHubs
- Ensure delivery of maximum business value thorugh the exploitation of SAP Standard functionality and configuration objects to achieve the desired end result
- Adhere to security and control, and change control processes
- Design, develop and maintain the SAP Systems to meet support and/or project requirements.
- Work with IT support teams (DBA, server teams) to ensure support and project requirements are developed and successfully implemented
- Ensure integration system activities including monitoring the technical architecture (particularly scalability, availability and archiving) meet all SLA's
- Responsible for full System Development Life Cycle
- Work with business team to complete acceptance testing and participate in integration testing
- Participate in production support/ duty rotation including weekend and off-hour support coverage
- Undertake performance tuning activities for SAP integration activities
- Participate in technical reviews at appropriate stages of development

Key Competencies & Skills required

Technical:

- SAP SD and general Invoicing process knowledge, including and specifically for handling taxation for different countries, as well as Inter-Company billing knowledge
- MS Office & Jira Knowledge
- Very good knowledge in written and spoken English
- IT technical background & programming experience
- Experience in all components of software delivery with concentration in requirements, design and development.
- Quick starter to troubleshoot/resolve incidents and business support items
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to multi-task effectively
- Prioritize Business Impact and Urgency- Testing experience
- Ability to learn new technologies and methodologies quickly

Previous Experience & Qualifications

Education/Qualification:

- A degree in Business Administration, Business Information Systems or IT Consulting or equivalent or a related discipline; or equivalent work experience

Knowledge & Experience:

- 3 -5 years of SAP modules such as SAP SD and general invoicing and Dunning activities
- Significant experience of, Change and Release Management and Quality Management techniques gained through IT program / project delivery and in an IT support environment.
- Experience of working within multi-location teams.
