**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform general surgical procedures including but not limited to appendectomies, hernia repairs, cholecystectomies, and other abdominal surgeries.
- Conduct patient consultations to evaluate medical history and diagnose surgical needs.
- Recommend treatment plans and explain surgical options and potential risks.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals during surgeries.
- Monitor patients’ recovery and provide post-operative care and follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Participate in regular medical reviews and audits to ensure compliance with hospital standards.
- Stay updated with the latest surgical techniques and medical technology.

**Qualifications**:

- MBBS and MS/DNB in General Surgery (mandatory)
- Valid Medical Council Registration
- Minimum 2 years of post-MS/DNB surgical experience preferred
- Strong clinical knowledge and surgical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and patient management abilities
- Ability to work in high-pressure and emergency situations
