**- **Test Planning and Design**:

- Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to create comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the scope and requirements of the project.
- **Test Execution**:

- Execute test cases (manual) and report defects, bugs, errors, and inconsistencies.
- Perform regression testing to ensure resolved issues do not affect existing functionality.
- Conduct various types of testing, including functional, integration, system, usability, and acceptance testing.
- **Defect Management**:

- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Work closely with the development team to resolve issues.
- **Reporting**:

- Provide detailed test reports and status updates to the QA Manager and project stakeholders.
- Communicate findings and provide recommendations for improvements in a clear and concise manner.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:

- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other team members to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- **TECHNICAL SKILLS**:

- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Understanding of various testing techniques and methods (e.g., black-box testing, white-box testing, automated testing is a plus).
- Basic understanding of SQL and scripting.
- **SOFT SKILLS**:

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP) is a plus.
- Knowledge of performance and/or security testing.
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
