**Role description**:
**UST Job Title: Associate II - Semiconductor Product Validation**

**Who we are**:
**The Opportunity**:
UST is looking for a Validation Technician to support platform-level validation for hardware systems in a lab-based environment. This hands-on role involves executing test cases, managing test environments, supporting debugging efforts, and ensuring firmware and system functionality meet quality standards.

This is a full-time onsite position based in Pune, India

**Key Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Bring up and troubleshoot client platform hardware and software.
- Configure and deploy client platform environments for testing and development.
- Execute test runs, monitor system performance, identify potential issues & publish results.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Document lab procedures and configurations.
- Manage inventory of lab equipment and supplies.
- Ensure the lab environment is clean, organized, and safe.
- Implement and maintain security protocols within the lab environment.

**Required Skills**:

- Strong understanding of client platform architecture.
- Proficiency in assembling & troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Experience with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.

**Qualification**:

- 3+ Years of experience working on client platform architecture.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in a lab environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move equipment as needed.
