**Job Overview**:
**Job Title: Subject Matter Expert - Server, Storage & Backup**

**What You Will Do**:

- Act as a **technical SME** for server, storage, and backup infrastructure, providing end-to-end support and solutions.
- Design, configure, and maintain **enterprise-grade datacenter systems** across multiple environments.
- Drive technology refresh projects and support large-scale **datacenter migrations**.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address infrastructure needs, ensuring security, compliance, and operational excellence.
- Lead complex troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers to build strong in-house technical capabilities.

**Qualifications You Must Have**:

- ** Bachelor’s or Master’s degree** in Engineering, Computer Applications, or related field.
- ** 10+ years of hands-on experience** in server, storage, and backup administration.
- Expertise in **Windows/Linux server platforms**, virtualization and HCI platform (VMware,vSAN, Dell VxRAIL, Nutanix AHV), and enterprise storage solutions (Unity, Power Scale, Power Store or equivalent).
- Strong experience with **backup tools** (AVAMAR,IDPA,Netbackup or similar).
- Proven ability to manage **datacenter migrations, refresh projects**, and high-availability environments.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

**Qualifications We Prefer**:

- Exposure to **cloud platforms** (Azure/AWS) and hybrid infrastructure models.
- Experience in **automation/scripting** (PowerShell, Python, or Ansible).
- Strong knowledge of **security, compliance, and audit frameworks**.

Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in high-demand environments
