**1 Structural BIM Manager**

1) Qualifications
- Degree/ Diploma in Civil Engineering, minimum 8-10 years relevant experience in Structural Engineering Modelling and Detailing.
- Sound Knowledge in 3D modelling and review tools like Revit Structures, Tekla, AutoCAD, & Navisworks etc.,

2) Business Development
- Build relationship with BIM leads from client’s organisations.
- Lead BIM teams from different verticals.

3) Project Role
- Ability to implement Quality Control Systems.
- Undertake structural Modelling and Detailing of projects.
- Work with the project engineer to enable delivery of major projects using BIM/CAD software packages.
- Project Set up, Family creation, Revit Template creation and project analysis.
- Read and understand BIM Execution Plans prior to working on projects, attend project kick off meetings.
- Coordinate with other services and inform team for any major coordination issues.
- Ensure full compliance with SSC’s CAD/BIM standard.
- Quality check of the BIM models, coordinate with clients for project and technical discussions
- Interact with peers on resolving modelling issues.
- Run clash detection and prepare clash reports.
- Develop fully coordinated BIM model (with other consultants such as MEP, Arch, façade etc.)
- Participate in resource management meetings.
- Attends inter discipline coordination meeting as when required.
- Ability to supervise and manage team of Technicians, and train Junior technicians.

4) Engineering Function
- Sound Knowledge in Structural Engineering detailing
- Ability to read and understand other discipline drawings (Arch + MEP + Façade etc.,)
- Ability to co-ordinate drawings with other members of the design team.
- Ability to produce BIM Models/ drawings with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to Co-ordinate with other disciplines team members (Arch + MEP + Façade etc.,)
- Strong Knowledge in BIM/CAD standards to setup Industry standard BIM models
- Production of BIM Models/CAD drawings from sketches prepared by Engineers and by reference to other consultant’s drawings all in accordance with SSC BIM/CAD standards.
- Liaison with other members of the design team over details to ensure a co-ordinated set of drawings is produced.
- Setting up and maintaining job drawing filing system to office standard.

5) Behavioural
- Good in Communication Skills (good English skills are mandatory).
- Self-Driven and Self-motivated Excellent team player
- Clear and Consistent in approach to Structural Modelling and Detailing
- Passionate about Structural Engineering and drive to exceed the requirements of internal and external stakeholders.
- Set an example to more junior/younger staff by demonstrating compliance with the company’s procedures and policies and operate within company controls.
- Should have a passport and ready for business travel in foreign countries.
