As a Cloth Simulation Artist, you will play a crucial role in bringing our characters and worlds to life by creating realistic simulations of cloth behavior. Working closely with our animation and rigging teams, you will utilize your expertise to ensure that clothing, fabrics, and accessories move and interact convincingly with character motion and environmental forces.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute high-quality cloth simulations using Maya or Blender, ensuring accuracy and realism in fabric behavior.
- Collaborate with animators to understand character movements and integrate cloth simulations seamlessly into animations.
- Customize simulation parameters such as fabric type, stiffness, elasticity, and gravity effects to achieve desired artistic and technical results.
- Troubleshoot and debug simulation issues, optimizing performance and efficiency.
- Iterate on simulations based on feedback from directors, supervisors, and other team members.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in cloth simulation techniques and tools.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Animation, Computer Graphics, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in cloth simulation for 3D animation projects, with a strong portfolio showcasing realistic cloth behavior.
- Proficiency in software such as Maya or Blender for cloth simulation.
- Solid understanding of character animation principles and how cloth interacts with motion.
- Experience with scripting or programming languages (Python, MEL, etc.) for tool development and automation is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
