**About the Position**:
Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking to recruit engineers with experience in Software for Battery Engineering and Manufacturing to join our global sales team as Portfolio Development Executive to further promote our software growth into the Battery Domain-Cross Industry, Cross Portfolio.

Our DI SW Portfolio offers Xcelerator which uniquely offers integrated solutions to support the battery industry from the engineering concept phase with chemistry engineering up to the cell manufacturing and in-use battery monitoring at commercial companies wanting to understand and accelerate their innovation. This is an outstanding opportunity to join our AP Zone Portfolio development team as a PFD executive-Battery to identify, drive and execute battery strategies in AP.

You will need to be an enthusiastic teammate with an engineering background in battery chemistry, battery design or manufacturing and possess business acumen to drive day-to-day Battery execution strategy.

As part of Zone PFD organization, you will advocate and drive the development of Battery domains through the identification of a clear target market and go to market strategy, and the execution of campaign and initiative centered strategies to leverage and maximize DI SW opportunities.
- Understand the market positions for Battery Domain (Engineering and Manufacturing) in the AP Zone including what problems we are solving and the business value delivered to customer in order to adapt the sales message and TIPS for campaign/initiative, appreciating that these messages will differ between industries.
- Act as key point of contact for Sales teams for campaign knowledge and Battery portfolio support
- Establish and track measurable goals for monitoring Battery portfolio growth against each campaign, in Country and provide feedback to campaign and initiative owners on content and lessons learnt.
- Liaise with all relevant stakeholders to devise and execute battery strategy in AP countries ex. Industry, Segment, PFD, Presales.
- Works under self-management on assignments/pursuits and will determine solutions, methods and best practices applicable in the battery domain.

- Understand and fully align with the Interlock process defining approved campaigns and initiatives for delivery at all levels within the organization pertinent to Battery domain and align with Zone Managing Director for Zone consumption.
- Identify key Battery opportunities for the Zone, defining the industry, geography and target accounts for portfolio development projects
- Based on the Battery target market definition, and through liaison with relevant global groups, create a comprehensive Go to Market strategy for assigned battery portfolio (Cross industry, Cross domain), and identify appropriate approaches for the delivery of the Battery strategy across the Zone.
- Lead the alignment of existing campaign and initiative activities being undertaken by local country/vertical and zone field and marketing teams to the Go to Market strategy for Battery domain/s, continuing appropriate ongoing activities and planning for the reduction and removal of activities which do not align with an approved Global campaign or Global/Zone/Country/Vertical Initiative.
- Act as a thought leader and champion of business transformation within Battery domain, maintaining an understanding of latest technical and industry trends, transferring knowledge to drive organisational sales maturity and portfolio growth.
- Provide regular reports against agreed metrics for portfolio domain and campaign/initiative in the zone, showing progress against strategy, risks, challenges and resulting agreed actions to deliver plan.
- In collaboration with global colleagues assigned to the same portfolio domain capture lessons learnt and provide regular feedback to global owners of campaigns and initiatives providing insights into what is working, what is not working and why.

**What do I need to qualify for this job?**
- Bachelor or Master degree holder in Engineering or Information Technology
- 10+ years working experience in manufacturing and/or engineering software industry pertinent to Battery Applications
- Experience on various Product Lifecycle Management technologies applicable for Battery industry across Design-manufacturing-IoT
- Battery related Solution knowledge with Siemens PLM Software’s solutions or competitive products is preferred.
- Good in presentation skill and be able to communicate and to drive people in obtaining result independently.
