**Handbag Designer**

**Responsibilities**:
Develop seasonal product with a focus on style, function and fabric.

Ensures timely development of line by adhering to time and action calendar.

Deliver design sketches/prototypes and provide specification.

Adapt designs based on feedback, incorporating for finalization.

Review prototypes and communicate corrections.

Create artwork to be translated into prints and graphics.

Organize color swatches and materials.

Utilize resources in sourcing new ideas, both internally and externally, and stay up to date on competitor research/trend analysis.

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree in Accessories Design or equivalent experience

2+ years of handbag design experience in a comparable retail environment.

Exceptional talent with a commercial fashion eye and detail in product styling/performance.

Collaborative partner with a team-oriented approach.

Strong ability to hand sketch and computer render.

Ability to research and develop custom hardware.

Highly motivated, passionate and results oriented.

Solid communication and presentation skills.

Must be flexible to meet demands of deadlines, etc.

Personal professionalism and accountability.

Moderate domestic travel.

Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with adherence to deadlines.

Detail oriented and resourceful traits necessary.

Must be able to find best solutions and developing methods to improve efficiency.

Must be flexible to adapt to changing trends of business and projects.

Ability to work in fluid environment with changing priorities required.
