Production Scheduling Coordinator

**DESCRIPTION**

**Key Responsibilities** **Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)**:

- Report any work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards immediately.
- Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Participate in HSE training and promote safety practices.

**Quality Management**:

- Follow standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures to maintain operational consistency.
- Collect and maintain master data (bill-of-material, work center capabilities, etc.) to support **Plan for Every Part (PFEP)**.
- Work with the Quality team to disposition non-conforming materials in a timely manner.

**Production Scheduling & Delivery**:

- Develop and maintain a realistic and aligned daily, weekly, or monthly production schedule for designated products or production lines.
- Enter pre-approved changes to the production schedule within the time fence (emergency and trading zones).
- Identify risks (downtime, material shortage, etc.) and minimize their impact on the production schedule.
- Analyze data to identify potential bottlenecks (e.g., routing, kitting, Kanban) and suggest improvements.
- Take ownership and accountability for the timely delivery of production schedules that meet customer demands.
- Ensure alignment of production plans with plant capacity and material availability, adapting to any constraints as necessary.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, process flow, and material handling.

**Teamwork & Collaboration**:

- Communicate effectively within the assigned team and with all relevant cross-functional teams, including Operations, Materials, and Customer Service.
- Drive accountability within the team and work with Logistics and Operations to ensure **Schedule Attainment**.
- Participate in Cross-Functional Team (CFT) meetings and help in the resolution of production issues.
- Demonstrate flexibility and readiness to take on other tasks as required to meet business goals.

**Technical Skills**:

- **Materials Planning System Utilization** : Proficient in using materials planning systems to manage supply and demand, resolve exception messages, and take corrective actions based on root cause analysis.
- **Part Change Control Management** : Evaluates and implements engineering changes, such as obsolescence or supersessions, to meet delivery requirements while minimizing excess inventory.
- **PFEP (Plan for Every Part)** : Applies PFEP principles to ensure the right parts are delivered at the right time, in the right quantity, to the right place.
- **Capacity Planning** : Converts the Master Production Schedule (MPS) into detailed resource requirements, optimizing internal capacity utilization and identifying constraints.
- **Master Supply Scheduling** : Develops and maintains a valid Master Production Schedule that aligns with customer expectations and manufacturing capacity.
- **Materials KPI Management** : Evaluates performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for improvement and make adjustments to meet targets.
- **Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP)** : Uses the Demand Plan and Master Supply Plan to estimate critical resource requirements, ensuring a balanced supply and demand.

**Soft Skills**:

**Education & Experience**:

- **Education** : High school diploma or equivalent required. A degree or relevant certification in production planning, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
- **Experience** : 4+ years of relevant work experience in production planning, scheduling, or materials management preferred.
- **Licensing** : This position may require compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
